September Fellowship at Nikki Beach  03/10/2016 (ดู:3044)



September found us at Nikki Beach, Lipa Noi – an iconic venue.
It is also where club members meet twice a month to discuss current issues and share a delicious meal.
From the time the first invitation was sent out, requests for places flooded in. A second wave ensued when the menu was publicised!
When asked if there was a limit, we were assured that ‘the sky was the limit’! In the event, a record 103 guests passed by the registration desk – fortunately many arrived early, so queues were not too long!
When everyone had enjoyed their welcome drinks and were seated, it was time for guests to sample the excellent buffet.
Again, high numbers resulted in some queueing, but the ambience and the background music ensured an atmosphere of patience.
With a plethora of raffle prizes, including 4 from Nikki Beach, a voucher for Trend Tailoring, 2 from Kwan Beach Resort plus the usual alcoholic offerings, raffle tickets were in much demand, raising over 32,000 baht! Before the
draw, President Warunee took the opportunity to inform guests about the Project for the year, the adoption of Wat Lamai School.
She then went on to draw the prizes bringing smiles to many guests, but groans from many more unlucky ticket holders!
